The best female cyclists in the United States will be in St. Louis over Labor Day competing in four days of racing and a combined purse of $15,000. They will also, once again kick-off the first day of the UCI North American Professional Racing Calendar, The Tour of Missouri Professional Cycling Race.
Previous winners of both the Tour of Missouri Women’s event and The THF Realty Gateway Cup represent the top professional women competing in the United States. Double US National Champion, Brooke Miller, racing for Team Tibco, won the inaugural Tour of Missouri Women’s race in 2008. Also will be returning professional cyclist, Kelly Benjamin past stage winner and 2007 Overall Women’s Champion. Look out for SIX time US Professional Criterium Champion Tina Pic and the world beating sprint of Laura Van Gilder.

It’s Missouri and we want SHOW our appreciation for the athletes who are competing in this year’s event. SqWires Restaurant in the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood will be hosting an incredible evening for the athletes and fans of women’s professional cycling.
Tickets are $35 for food, complimentary beer and wine- and entry into this exclusive event. Bump shoulders and quads with the fastest women in America until the Team Presentation from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm with David Towle, the voice of Americas best cycling events. The Soiree begins in earnest at 9:30 with the Unconscious, one of the best bands to hail from the river city. (After 9:00 pm tickets are $10 at the door- including a cocktail of course.)
